Holding a Masters of Business Administration and a Petroleum Engineering Bachelor’s degree, Santiago joined Halson Group as Project and Cost Engineer in May 2020. With experience in cost control and estimation for oil and gas companies and specialising in data analysis his role plays a relevant factor in implementing strategies and systems to deliver cost-efficient solutions to Halson Group and our clients.

Over 20 years experience in oil and gas (offshore and onshore), naval shipbuilding and mining sectors in UK, Norway and Australia. Electrical trades background, with vast offshore supervision and Project Co-ordination experience, successfully delivering various high-profile Hook Ups including major Brownfield and Greenfield projects throughout the North Sea. IRATA certified Rope Access Level 3, with extensive onshore oil and gas and mining shutdown and projects experience Australia wide.
